Fresh figs with almonds and cashews halwa is a delicious way to enjoy figs during the season. Made using minimal ghee and sugar, it's a healthy dessert that comes together rather quickly in an Instant Pot. Stove Top version also included!!
I love figs in any form and try to incorporate it in myriad ways when in season, like salads and desserts. Since figs are naturally sweet, very little sugar is actually needed. Hence, I get to enjoy this without any guilt. It's nutrient-dense with a rich concentration of vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and antioxidants.
It makes a perfect dessert to enjoy with family and friends on any festive occasion or get-togethers or even when you have sudden sweet cravings. My favorite way to have it is with chai. How about you? :))
