Ingredients
- 2 cups Tortilla chips, slightly crushed
- ½ cup boiled black beans
- ½ cup frozen sweet corn (rinsed and drained)
- ½ cup onions, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- ½ red or green pepper/capsicum, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- ½ cup tightly packed lettuce, chopped
- 5-7 pitted olives, sliced
- ½ cup Mexican Blend cheese
- 2 tablespoon tamarind chutney
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup (I used Maggie Hot & Sweet Chili sauce)
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1.5 teaspoon rock salt (kala namak) or salt as per your taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro or coriander
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine together black beans, corn, onions, tomatoes, jalapeno, peppers, olives, tamarind chutney, ketchup, rock salt, pepper powder, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix everything nicely.
- Finally, stir in tortilla chips, lettuce, and cheese.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
- Add tortilla chips and lettuce just before serving.
- You can also add coriander chutney and chaat masala to make it spicier.
